Faglige interesser

Dr Strand er psykologspesialist og har en doktorgrad i helsepsykologi. Hun har lang erfaring som klinisk psykolog med pasienter som har hatt både psykiske og somatiske helseutfordringer. Forskningen hennes har i særlig grad fokusert på ressurser hos pasienter med ulike smertetilstander, men også på både diagnostiske, psykologiske og biologiske aspekter relatert til vedvarende utmattelsestilstander. Hun har i sin forskning fortrinnsvis brukt kvantitative metoder, men er også involvert i kvalitative forskningsprosjekt båe som veileder og forsker.  Dr Strand vil være involvert i Epio som er et digitalt smertemestringsprosjekt og Zupersmart som er en digital løsning for mestring av stress hos barn.
